Animal Law
I am strongly committed to advocating for the rights of animals and their owners. My animal law practice predominately focuses on legal issues relating to companion animals. However, my interests also include advocating for the rights of all animals including wildlife, farm animals, and animals used in research. The practice of animal law involves many traditional areas of law including: tort, contract, criminal, and constitutional law.
My animal law practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Animal custody disputes in cases of divorce or separation
- Housing disputes
- Cases involving the wrongful death or injury to a companion animal
- Wills and trusts providing for support of an owners companion animal
- Criminal Law
- Anti-cruelty law
- Lobbying and Governmental Relations
