Property Division
Marital property includes all property acquired after the marriage but before the date of divorce or legal separation, subject to statutory exceptions. The Court will first assign all non-marital property to the spouse owning it. Then the Court will divide marital property without regard to marital misconduct in just proportions considering all relevant statutory factors. Division of real and personal property can also be successfully and amicably accomplished through mediation.
